APK Extractor works on your phone only. It has no account, no analytics of its own and no server. It reads the apps on your phone that have an icon in your app drawer, plus apps that use accessibility, notification access or device admin (their name, package name, version, install and update dates, which store installed them, file sizes, and whether they hold those accesses). It keeps a history of installs, updates and removals from the day you first open it, and the list of APK copies you saved. All of this stays in the app's private storage on your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
A copy of an app is written only when you tap Save or Share: to Download/APK Extractor, to a folder you pick in Android's folder picker, to a file you name in Android's save dialog, or to the share sheet, where you choose the receiving app. Copies in your Download folder or a picked folder are your files and stay there after you uninstall the app. The app asks for no storage permission.
About once an hour Android lets the app check which apps changed, so the history also covers the time the app is closed. This check runs on your phone, sends nothing and can be switched off in Settings. Notices (a new app from outside Google Play, kept versions) are off unless you switch them on.
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from the IP address and information about ad interactions to show and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK you are asked for consent first, and you can change it any time in Settings, "Ad privacy choices". See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. The list of your apps is never shared with advertisers or anyone else.
"Remove ads" is bought through Google Play. We never see your payment details; Google Play tells the app only whether the purchase is active.
Package visibility: the app sees apps with an icon and apps that use accessibility, notification access or device admin; it does not ask for the full list of apps. Uninstall: only Android's own dialog for an app you picked, which you confirm. Run at startup: only to keep the background check working after the phone restarts. Notifications (optional): only the notices you switch on. Storage: none.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
